Royal Purple Raceway
Houston Raceway Park will officially become Royal Purple
Raceway Jan. 1, 2011. Royal Purple recently penned the
agreement for the facility's naming rights.
The venue is Houston's only major multi-purpose motorsports
venue that features both a 3/8 mile oval track and a 1/4
mile drag strip. It's home to NHRA sanctioned drag racing
and World of Outlaw events, and is also a frequent filming
location for the popular TV show Pinks All Out.
Royal Purple will have signage throughout the venue and
hospitality suites at both tracks. Tentative plans also
include using the facility to film some of next season's
episodes of The Forum Wars. More information will follow in
the coming months.

The Green Hornet |

Royal Purple is partnering with Sony on the release of
highly anticipated action-comedy The
Green Hornet. The January 2011 release
is based on the 1960's television show of
the same name.
The movie will feature the iconic Black Beauty car as well
as Royal Purple product placement. Royal
Purple plans a retail promotional campaign
that will include a sweepstakes and
point-of-purchase. The movie trailer is

The newest addition to Royal Purple's XPR
line of extreme performance and racing oils
is now available.
XPR 3.1 is our lowest viscosity engine oil designed for the
most competitive classes such as Pro Stock,
Pro Stock Bike, Comp Eliminator and NASCAR (qualifying).
The ultra low viscosity provides the most horsepower
possible by keeping parasitic losses to an
absolute minimum while providing
unparalleled protection. It is the choice of
NHRA Pro Stock driver Mike Edwards who
switched to XPR 3.1 after it was released.
Edwards is currently the NHRA points leader.
XPR 3.1 is available in gallons (case part #44205) and five
gallon pails (part #05205). |

RP's racing game is available free of charge
for use on in-stadium video monitors/billboards.
The game is a fun way to entertain fans
while promoting Royal Purple. The game
features three different endings; one with a
different winner in each. The game is a
slightly modified version of the game that
will be featured at every Texans home game.
